I think she maybe thought grabbing onto it would have kept her feet on the floor |

I guess it was reflex action to just grab anything in the hope it would stop her ascent.

The shop keeper was swift in getting her back down. I’m not sure I would have been able to get her down as fast had I left a shop to see a woman dangling like that from the shutters |
