Just had the biggest shock ever when i rang orange as my phone bill was in excess of £200...
After 20 mins of being passed from pillar to post and someone who sounded like he didn't know his arse from his elbow, they tell me that 136 of the bill is for my sons handsets and all the calls are to me or eachother...we are all set up as magic numbers!!!
Apparently someone is looking into this and calling me back.
Does anyone know if they can go ahead and charge me for this as its not my mistake? |

You can bet they have a clause buried in their contract, that makes it legal for them.
They can change your contract and charges anytime they want and its in the contract.
Dont get done get a land line. |

Have you been charged for calling each other before ?
I have found orange very helpful when I've had dealings with them, but it does take forever to get through to the right department. |

They will charge you I am afraid...although £136 for Magic Number calls is very excessive. They have been very good in sorting things for me and any discount or refunds appeared on my next month's bill. You do have to be a little firm with them...as with any other mobile network providers. They want to keep your custom and if there are more than one Orange contract in your houseold they will be a little more ameanable.
Good luck! |

No that's just it calls to each others numbers have always been free as they are on magic numbers and its only this month.
And you are supposed to get up to 3 hours a day...i have unlimited calls but got them for the boys.
Still didn't get the call back but will ring them again for tomorrow. |
