"War and peace/Anna Karenina. When it comes to capturing what drives different kind of men, there is no better writer than Leo Tolstoy. Dostoyevsky rolling in his grave…lol On a serious note. Tolstoy is a genius and your recommendations are superb. Regardless of gender just read them." I think Dostoevsky is a great writer when it comes to expressing philosphical thoughts. His characters are just vehicles to convey his philosophy and because of that, the characters tend to look a bit unrealistic. But Tolstoy's characters are much grounded on reality and look like people you run onto everyday in your life. I personally like both of them. They are good writers in their own way. | |||
