Hello OP,
You are probably aware of the local clubs, which are a good way of meeting local people, and their is the occasional organised social, though there hasn't been one for a while.
The South West chatroom has a good crowd, some of whom are from the Exeter area, so maybe you'd like to pop yourself in there from time to time.
In our experience there are generally few people from Exeter that post on the forums. That's not to say they don't exist, but they are few and far between and so I would say don't rely on the forums alone to make aquaintances.

I live just outside Exeter and to be honest the southwest is a bit thin on the ground if you're looking for women and you're not open to meeting absolutely anyone and everyone.
Not saying you'd have to be desperate to meet anyone round here. Not at all! But, if you're like me, and you're kinda picky, it's a struggle!
Also, if you're at all like me, you'll struggle because frankly, it's hard for a pretty much completely average guy when there are so many 6ft+, gym inhabitants.
Not complaining, I get it. If I could choose between Margot Robbie and one-eyed, two-toothed Trish the truck-puller, I know who I'd pick too!
My best advice... try not to take anything personally. Don't expect anyone to send or respond to messaged. In fact... expect nothing. That way, every single interaction is a 100% improvement. |
