What’s everyone’s favourite positive quotes?

The struggle of life is one of our greatest blessings. It makes us patient, sensitive, and Godlike. It teaches us that although the world is full of suffering, it is also full of the overcoming of it.

If I feel the need for a little positivity in my life I try to appreciate all the small things that make it good.

I think positivity is a good thing, in small doses. There are times it's not appropriate and I honestly don't believe that suffering makes anybody a better person.

Sounds like biblical pish to me.

Better to seek forgiveness than ask permission. Not exactly good vibe but I have lived with that all my life and it's very rarely let me down.

“To live a fulfilled life, we need to keep creating the 'what is next', of our lives. Without dreams and goals there is no living, only merely existing, and that is not why we are here.”

Another persons beauty is not the absence of your own.

It’s the only quote I remember

See the light in others. And treat them as if that is all you see.

Desiderata. A bit of a long quote, more like a compilation of good quotes.

“Take the adventure, heed the call, now ere the irrevocable moment passes! ‘Tis but a banging of the door behind you, a blithesome step forward, and you are out of the old life and into the new! Then some day, some day long hence, jog home here if you will, when the cup has been drained and the play has been played, and sit down by your quiet river with a store of goodly memories for company.”

I use the cup half full rather than half empty one a lot... Both when dealing with negativity from others and when trying to make the best of a bad situation as there are invariably some positives I can take with me

Come on, that's a blatant steal of 'two in the pink and one in the stink'
