I'd never turn it on when at home and would potentially only ever use it while away.
Even then, its just out of idle curiosity. The proximity of someone else is no indication that they're potentially compatible company, at all interesting and most importantly, have the slightest inclination to actually want to meet at that moment.
It's a bit odd to think that just because someone's close that it in any way increases the chance of meeting them. And of course some people find it more than a little stalky, so never, ever turn it on. |

C got the train to London the other day and I could track her progress on FAB for who looked at us and also winked 
I would hate to live near a train line or motorway and see a hot people was close, only to check again 10 mins later and they are 30 miles away

I've had the same, on a train from London. Perhaps I should switch mine off. |

I used to be pretty accurate if the person logged on. No longer works at all for me (and yes I have tried to fix it both on here and phone settings) so I permanently show as being at my former home  |

If you're in Weston it'll give you most of the population of Cardiff as being under 10 miles away...... |
