To anyone who has a partner this really. Do you ever have a situation where you're making dinner and one of you wants rice and the other wants noodles but you don't feel like making separate?

I don't cook.

So I'll just have whatever they're making or order appropriately.

Eat what you are given. In other words, the cook decides

Yeah. If they aren’t the one making the dinner, they don’t have a choice really

Compromise! Rice one day, noodles the next. Then a Chinese to share the next day!

If I’m cooking you’ll get what you are given and be grateful for it

Doesn’t matter what I cook she will always want a takeaway. I give up and just cook for myself most days.

No. I like to chat about tea beforehand so we’re both on the same page as to what we’re having!

If they want owt different at the last minute then they can sort it.

I can't bring myself to ever use microwave rice. I'm a traditionalist snob when it comes to food

What a terrible and almost insolvable dilemma.

If only there was some intelligent solution that could be achieved.

Have you consulted the UN?

Just make one dish like Roodles or Nice..

It's rice n noodles in one pan.

Glad to have helped.

Thank me later.

This is pretty much me. If you want something different then cook it yourself was and is a rule in my house
