Good thanks.

How are you?

We must stand out from the crowd. On Tuesday we looked in a shop window in the morning, later that afternoon we went in and the woman behind the counter said "I recognise you, you're the interesting couple who were looking in the window and laughing this morning "

Now whether that's a good or bad thing I don't know

I used to stand out in a crowd.

Then I blended in.

Now... now I'm not even part of the crowd. I stand out so little I may as well be a piece of hay in a haystack.

It’s only in a crowd that I truly realise I am different to everyone else because I can literally see over everyone’s heads. It’s weirdly disconcerting.

I'm not the best with crowds, can I stand out in the garden instead?

Most of the time I'm happy to blend in.

Now and again though, I push myself out my comfort zone and want to stand out. Sometimes I manage it, but mostly I find I'm worried it's for all the wrong reasons.

It depends on where I am, but the colour of my hair means I tend to stand out in most places
