Interesting...

I love them with bacon, but will try this one

Properly underrated veg. I think people are used to them being boiled to mush, hence the general negativity

Now this is an idea to try.

I normally shred them and fry with a nut (pine , shaved almonds or pecans) and panchetta

Also growers have been steadily doing selective breeding (chortle) so that they have less of the usual bitter taste that people associate and hated about them.

Less bitter and more peppery? That's the vibe I'm getting

In afraid I can't comment on the exact aromatic bouquet they are aiming for. I learnt this from a Newsround piece I saw when I was fitting a kitchen just before Christmas that the had on in the background.

That sounds delicious. And even better if you do it without any sprouts.

To be fair, I'm very happy eating them lightly steamed, just as they come!

Boiled or dinged, salt n pepper. That’s it. That’s the sprouts. Eat them by the bag as snacks. Don’t mind them raw either. K

All over

Panceta and chestnuts, very nice. Or drizzle some olive oil and a squize of lemon and freshly ground pepper. Also very good.

"Sliced and stir fried in butter... "

You beat me to it - they are great sliced, sauteed and a sprinkle of your favourite spice mix if you like an extra buzz.
