android anti virus,,??

Being the techno numpty ( see my thread on Skype,,??) any advice on anti virus for a Sony Xperia t phone,,? I think I've received an e mail that might be malicious,, if not I've just deleted a rather good looking blonde,,, yeah I know what your thinking g it s a virus ,,,,  |

I didn't open the attachments, deleted straight away, ve changed my gmail password, wanted to be sure no one got my phone,, will head to Googlestore,,

I had similar come up on my Xperia t and then the phone kept telling me I'm at risk, so I went fot the McAfee upgrade (set up already on the phone) payed the £17 install fees, and my phone is now protected, but I do think something isn't right with the phone still, ie changes where you are when writing a message? Or often I get 2 identical txt come through, x |

"Lookout is a good one too."
Another vote here for Lookout - not just a scanner to make sure your apps are all free of nasties, but it will also do clever stuff like contact backups and even locate the phone if its nicked or lost (depending on GPS). And it's free! |

sadly this is the risk you take on android/windows devices!"
Like Apple devices cant get viruses!

If you are among those people who use top class apple Iphone and windows mobile operating system and don’t give importance to the so called Android operating system than here is a good news for you infact you are one step ahead of Android in terms of security and purposes and you would have nearly less chances of being the victims of cyber crimes. According to a survey Googles Android enable smartphone is the most less secured smartphone and can be easily hacked by hackers. That was probably McAffee spamming you to get your money. |
