I am looking to take up a new hobby, something to get me out the house and meet people. Problem is I have literally no idea what to do.

What hobbies do you have?

Would love to read up about your hobbies.

Join an Astronomy club. Honestly it's so amazing. You meet amazing people and you get to learn about the night sky. Plus, they are very accommodating in that you don't even need a telescope if you want to start and can go with them and learn with their telescopes.

Being an avid astronomer for 20 odd years now, this was how I got my start.

Definitely should arrange it some day once the weather warms up and skies are more clear. (Whenever that will be in this cold bleak country)

Not a huge fan of fishing itself but I personally find it very therapeutic to gut, clean and fillet a fresh fish for a meal outdoors

Just reminds me when my job was alot easier

I quite like vandalizing the local bus shelters, gets you out and about and sometimes you see susie sucks and a phone number to call, what's not to like

Doesn't get me out the house much, but I love reading & collecting books.

It helps me escape reality & only gets me outside to buy more.

I like the gym for my mental health. 5 a side is good exercise and has a decent social side, join a chess club for meeting people and mental stimulation, do a night school course anything you fancy
