I got chatting to a guy on here who was very local to me, but once we chatted on WhatsApp, I had reasons to decline meeting. We stayed in touch though, just everyday chat. We had lots of close links in my area, including mutual acquaintances. I knew his address & he knew mine.

He knew I was on a long weekend shift last weekend & used that to his advantage, giving me a really terrible hard luck story & asking for help, even going to the lengths of posting money through my door, after needing cash paying into his account,waving at my security camera as he posted an envelope.

I called a friend to let herself into my place later that day, to pick up the envelope, which contained a bundle of receipts rather than the cash.

Now, I know you're all thinking what an absolute idiot I was- believe me, I know. I'm usually way more careful but there was alot to this & he played quite an elaborate ruse, knowing all the while that I was dealing with kids who have serious behaviour issues all weekend.

It's been dealt with by the bank, who have blocked his bank account & refunded my money. I reported his Fab account several days ago giving them a brief outline of what happened & I'm disappointed that his account is still active

Does anyone know if you get a response from admin if this gets dealt with?
