New here, trying to get a verification. Asked a number of verified people if they'd meet me, to verify, and only that.
Everybody I've asked has been abusive in their replies. As if I'd asked for their credit card no,.
Can anyone let me know in DM why this is such an issue. For context, I'm a single guy, looking for meets and events |

Because the only reason you're showing any interest in them is for the little green tick.
People on fab are here for their own enjoyment and not interested in doing favours for anybody who asks. Most lead busy lives away from here and many value whatever free time they do have.
Don't be so hung up on getting your first verification. Your approach is actually putting up more barriers.
Not everyone on here insists that you be verified.
Just try interacting with people and getting yourself known around the site for the right reasons and try not to come across as so desperate. |

So, you're asking people to take time out of their day to meet you. Not because you're interested in them, not because you think it'll go anywhere, but purely so they can be the stepping stone for you to fuck the people you actually find attractive?
Seems a fair ask. Don't know why anyone would be put out by it  |

Go to a social if you're getting no joy individually. I have no idea about the cam side of life but if it's about verifications maybe that is an alternative? Certainly you see that a lot...cam verifications |

Over on the Irish forum we have the Help a Fabber Out thread where anyone can request a coffee meet for verification and then other fabbers will message them, meet them and verify them. It works really well
I got my first verification on that thread and I have returned the favour to others. |

Instead of hiding behind a phone screen, get out into the lifestyle. Go to a club or social event and you may even pick up several verifications in just one visit. Good luck  |
