As someone who likes words, and has little to offer in 'real' life, can you build up enough interest here to feel as if you aren't typing into the void?

Have I reached a place in time where I am brave enough to look for friends (who may live in other countries) ((and who might have no interest in sexual activities)) again?

I'm fine with my own company, and have enough books to last several lifetimes of escape and wonder, but I miss, for want of a better term, 'friendliness'.

In a ball gown because that's how we roll in N. Devon

I don't know, OP. I know that most of my closest friends are as a result of forum interactions, but that's been over the course of many years of typing into the void.

But your experience will be different, because we are different people. So... I don't know. I do know that there are friendly people here though.

Good luck, whichever path you choose to take.

North West

Lots of people use the forums as social space, either just for online socialising or to find friends for real person social get togethers. It's not just about the Sex.
