I’m scared for England up in Murrayfield later on (4:45 bbc1).
Those northerners have got to put an 80 minute performance together at some point this season and I reckon it’ll be today.
Still… goooooo England |

England have the power upfront to disrupt the Irish game plan and if they can string a few passes together who knows. There handling was atrocious against Scotland , they literally handed the win to Scotland today. |

Nah - there was a fair amount to build on there against a very good side. Some decent defensive nous stifled their game. Wainwright was a blade of grass from scoring (some are arguing he briefly had the ball on the line before it moved back).
It’s amazing that, given the much smaller budgets in our professional sides compared to England and Ireland, we’re still producing a fair amount of talent. More to come too, with Morse, Edwards etc. |

My analysis of the upcoming Ireland vs England game is Ireland by 20!!!!!!
England don’t have the players for this blitz defence thing they are trying… and if all the other teams have been running lines thru them so far, England are going to see a whole lot of the Leinster loop… and the back rowers will have a field day targeting whoever is playing in the 10 12 channel |

Reply privately (closed, thread got too big) | |
What's everyone's thoughts on bonus points for 6 nations comps and European comps? I understand it for the league but in a short comp like the 6 nations, I don't think it should exist.
Ps. My grandparents are Irish and I like Guinness. I'm not just saying it because of the table, I have thought this for a while. Personally I think it kills the comp a bit |
