I’m only here for the lounge, I really enjoy it in the morning after the gym with a coffee, I don’t use any other social media and find it entertaining , funny, sometimes challenging but overall a good experience

Well, we are not actively seeking someone by being on Fab.
If it happens, it happens.
I like posting on here as I feel like and enjoy the chatter in my inbox too.
So thats why our profile stays (MrAbz is not a chattery idiot like me, hence it is me that stays for the yappity times)

I've been very lucky in life and had a wonderful swinging lifestyle over the years, but nowadays I am content with spending my time on the forums and meeting my Fab friends for a coffee  |

The forums have been my primary 'social media' for as long as I remember. I couldn't dicuss half the stuff I do on here with family, friends or on Facey and the latter is way less entertaining.
But no. While it's a big part of Fab life for me I'll always still be open to meets, socials, events and clubs.
I had a long 'forum only' period a few years back and seriously missed the actual physical social interaction with other fabbers, so won't be doing that again. |

I’m not here solely for the forums but I’m also not actively looking to meet anyone.
I’m just kinda hanging around to see what happens. If someone comes along that i’d be excited to meet then great, if not then it’s no big deal. |

Most of my time on Fab is spent chatting, sending long catch up messages to my fwb when we’re apart, perving hot videos  and lastly the forum, in all honesty. So no, I am not here just for them, but I enjoy them.  |

As a single man profile getting a message read nether mind a reply is a lottery with extreme odds. At least the forums are funny and people are more inclined to chat and swap a bit of banter. It makes FAB interesting at least. People are friendlier in the forums where there is no pressure. |

I don't use the forums as much as I used to. I don't send speculative messages as much as I used to. I don't use fab as much as I used to.
But if it wasn't for checking in on the forums I'd probably come on even less. So I probably am here for the forums. |

The forums are entertaining but we use FAB to meet people, find socials, club nights and look for local connections.
The forums are just when I want light entertainment and find out things like being nominated for Rear of the Year - thank you all (or one person )

I was trying to get to a group social with a friend to meet some people - perhaps that would work for me but it's not easy for me to get to events or clubs.

Having been on Fab a few years, everything is cyclical in the Forums: the people, the topics and even my own interest.
The Lounge offers the most diverse cross-section of views and is usually the one that will pull me back in when my interest has waned somewhat.

I'm a steady user of the forums as I seem to get ignored a lot of the time. Mostly in the chat rooms. I come here for a laugh as there is some amusing content. Being old and not meeting nobody holds it against me in the forums. That's just in the chat rooms. Oops sorry being old I do sort of repeat myself alot |

The forums, mainly the lounge, is the main reason I stay on fab. I’m not really looking to meet anyone however on saying that, I do find myself feeling attracted to certain posters on forums by observing what they write and how they interact with others. |

My experience is the opposite mate, although I’ve never been to a group social. After over 10 years in Fab, I’ve met two ladies as a result of using the forums, but met plenty of likeminded fun people through messaging, and made some great friends along the way. My experiences of visiting several clubs as a single guy could be best described as ‘lacklustre and disappointing’, and I would never recommend the club scene to a mate |

I haven't met anyone since I joined a few months ago. And I don't think I will because I don't want what the majority offer. But a group social could be fun, I think. |

Not just for the forums.
I joined because the forums here are the only place that the majority of clubs list all their (nonkink) events. So I can see what's on if I fancy a night out somewhere.
I enjoy the waffle on the forums. I also like getting my exhibitionist streak out without having to travel over an hour to find somewhere appropriate to do it in the flesh.
I like meeting the forumites at socials.
And very VERY rarely, someone appears in my inbox that sparks that little something. But that's definitely not the driving force for remaining here  |

I don't meet. I chat sometimes if I'm messaged, but I don't message people first. I like forum (well, the Lounge) because it's a gentle, undemanding, left field distraction from what is now quite a sad life, when my daughter's not around. |

im here to meet ... and as often as i can or want as the site is meant for ..... the forums i like to see whats going on and have a opinion but are they that important no not really its just a tiny corner of fab and where most dont even meet or meet very little anyway and its fastly just becoming a wank zone but its great for blocking ...i just wished more used it that way we get to know more about others and it becomes a great filter ..

The answer for me is both. I'm here to meet people and I use the forum as one way to interact with those people.
When I joined initially I found that
the forum was a much better way to meet people than messaging and I jumped in with two feet
Everyone I met before I started attending social events was as a result of a forum interaction.
This is also the place where all the social events are posted so I use it for that too.
I don't really send a lot of opening messages or even actively search for profiles so the forum is often how I interact with fab and I enjoy the shite talk, debates and circle jerk of it all. |

I have no real intention of meeting at the moment. I do enjoy posting in the lounge every now and again. I have found like most internet forums there seems to be a cliques that I'm not apart of so most of the time I am on the fringe of the discussions. Not that I'm complaining, just an observation. That still doesn't stop from trying to engage with others on here.
