Funny enough I just watched Bloodsport with Jean Claude Vandamme on Prime today, I legitimately thought I had seen this, turns out I hadn't.
Made for good viewing and I didn't realise this was what they based Mortal Kombat off of. |

"The Burbs
Gallipoli
The King Of Comedy
The Burbs was a childhood favourite! It was only years later that I realised there was a Steve Kuntz in the film "
Ahh another film I've missed and forgotten about!
I keep meaning to watch this as I love Tom Hanks, but something always comes along to steal my attention first. |

So I'm not saying these have aged well (or were ever good really). I can't hugely remember) but as a 12 Yr old I loved Who's That Girl? And Desperately Seeking Susan
I suspect if I saw them now I'd think differently! |

A few I enjoyed from the 80’s that may be a bit less known…
Iron Eagle… totally cashed in on the interest in Top Gun but a good film nonetheless
Wings of the Apache… same, but helicopters
Return of the living dead… one of the more comedic zombie films

"Porky's seems to have been relegated and forgotten about."
My mates dad had Porkys on his Betamax and we must have watched it a billion and one times - highly educational for a couple of 8 year olds! |

Legend - with the tomothy cruise
Battle Beyond the Stars - valkyrie was hotter than a hot thing.
Krull - just because I saw it 5 times at the cinema.
The dresser - lovely film about an actor getting old. |

"Angel Heart with Mickey Rourke & De Niro - very "noir" but a great film ??"
just a brilliant film. brilliant twists and turns in the plot.
I still hold the original hellraiser high, and for the obscure left of field wtf is going on 1993 offering I give you bad boy bubby.

"Split Second with Rutger Hauer. Loved his partner, detective Dick Derkin - gets more crazed as the film goes on, going on about needing "bigger fucking guns". "
Love that film. Harley Stone.
Pete Postlethwaite saying "you've all gone fucking mad!"
Also try, Bad Taste and Leonard part 4.
Two gloriously crap movies.... |

Most films of the 70s, 80s and 90s are forgotten about.
No one here gives a shizzle of the 40s, 50s and 60s and that was the supposed “Golden Age” of film!
If Netflix doesn’t have it the kids aren’t interested.

"Clockwise - John Cleese
Hilarious movie best bit John beating shit out of a allegro with a branch "
I think you're getting mixed up with fawlty towers.
In neither fawlty towers or Clockwise was there an allegro. In clockwise Cleeses character goes off in an Austin 1100 belonging to one of his students.
It's in fawlty towers that he punishes his car ewith a branch for breaking down. Its a red Austin estate possibly 1100 again or an A40 |

I watched that film 4 times in a row. My parents were not happy lol"
Is that the one where the main guy is a reluctant/ shy martial artist?
I'll recommend one -

Crime wave (Sam Raimi) "
Yup. Bad Taste was funny as sin.
And I got it wrong earlier.
It's

It was huge at the time, but seems not to have been well remembered.
I keep meaning to watch the new version - the TV series on Amazon. They have Rachel Weisz playing the twins, and I reckon the gender swap will make it interesting … |

I loved Baby Boom when I was younger, I had it taped off the TV and watched it loads.
Mid 80s, I had Animalympics on video tape and I think I watched it every bloody weekend. My friend looked it up online, and it's absolutely dire! |

Love love Ferris Bueller's Day Off. Thought every 80's child did? I should have included that on my list of films I can watch repeatedly!
