Fish and Chips under attack
Jump to: Newest in thread
President Putin has ended the 1954 treaty which guaranteed Englands fish and chip supply. Now, they can mess with many things but not an Englishman's fish and chips. Could this be a trigger for war? What's going on here guys. It's allover the news |

Alicante, Spain. (Sometimes in Wales) |
The treaty wasn't about the UK fishing industry, it was about the right to fish in other parts of the world.
I thought there were going to be major changes to UK fishing brought about by leaving the EU. Why should the destruction of another trade treaty worry proud, sovereign UK?
Whatever happens @Tom, we probably shouldn't send the army in for this one.

Is it coincidence that the same day we set off big missiles he does that…. I say we bomb every Johnny Foreigner that threatens our fish n chips…. We didn’t fight 2 world wars to surrender our fish & chips….. next thing we’ll be eating snails and drinking wine like Johnny Frenchy… smelling of Garlic and mispronouncing English words…. It makes my blood boil…. We should send in the army, air force, coastguard.. AA…RAC …. Sort the bloody lot of them out!!! Get you hands off my mackerel as my darling departed wife used to say !!! What was the question again?? Is it time for Cocoa… already??? |

No need to panic really
Andrew Crook, president of the National Federation of Fish Friers, told Sky News: "British vessels have not fished in Russian waters for decades so it's a bit of a moot point.
..hopefully this will stop these fish based puns as I really hake them .....
