Anecdotally made popular by 'Birds of a feather', the odd construction of naming that famous car the wrong way round.
Off hand, the only car name I can think of which works ok that way is 'E type Jag'. Certainly not 'Minor Morris, Anglia Ford or Jazz Honda'
What other examples abound and what would look particularly stupid.
How about some forum names by way of fun? |

"I might be wrong, but the Robin reliant was in only fools and horses and turned into jokes several years before birds of a feather "
That was a reliant regal. Pedantic but true. They look exactly the same as a Robin.

I was a passenger in one at age 15 when the front wheel collapsed at its top speed of 45 mph, scary, the driver dragged it back to his house and mended it while l was given medical attention, things you do as a daft kid. |

If l remember (long time ago) serious owners carried a spare engine and gearbox in the back so they could replace them if one of them broke ,as they got max speed out of them, mend it by the roadside to get home.dont know how they got the name reliant, maybe rely on them to crash? |

I saw one hit by a car and it was virtually destroyed
Hardly a mark on the car |

I had a Robin Reliant three wheeler for around a year...as you could drive it in your own with a full motorbike licence...it got me West London to high Wycombe to see joy division ...and a couple of relationships too as girls were happy enough to get in it. |
