"What do the neighbours think of the fish smell drifting into their house
They've just yelled over the back wall "Oi, Caz - is it knicker washing day already?" "
Shout back 'No, I've just done a fanny fart, that's all'.

It was fresh from the market, maybe I just have a very sensitive nose...the ruddy cat can certainly smell it, she was hanging round my feet while I was cooking it! |

"Cut lemon up put it in water and pop into microwave for a few mins/.....open microwave and let the fumes from warm lemon drift....I cook loads of fish and do this all time..soon gets rid of smell " that sounds a good idea, not any danger of me cooking fish but I love the smell of lemons.

steam the haddock in microwave bags, then just flake into the risotto, just the same as when making kedgeree.
lemon slices or vinegar in a jug or pan warmed will help to remove/lessen the smell, it also works to freshen the microwave
