Am I the only person that thinks you can tell a lot buy what someone has in their meal deal? (from various on offer).

What do you choose and let's put this to the test.

I buy them at the airport to take on the plane. I usually choose the sandwich least likely to give me food poisoning so no fish, seafood or chicken, water and the fruit pot. If there's something like sausages with tomato sauce I'll have that instead of a sandwich.

I'd avoid ASDA as well, can't think of any where else in your lovely next of the woods.

Mrs N likes a nice sossij before tackling the plums.

I got a premium on Monday when I was in the office. I got mozzarella, spinach and tomato wrap. Then I got a bag of crisps with it. I eat pretty much all flavours. But I got monster munch pickled onion. And then I got a banana and strawberry smoothie but I sometimes just get a flavoured water or a sparkling water.

If I get normal meal deal the sandwich is egg mayo or cheese Triple (I’m veggie btw) and I’d get eggs as the snack for the protein init

Depends on the day. If I'm trying to attempt to nod towards healthy it's tuna sammie, fruit pot, orange juice...

Mostly it's just a triple cheese combo, crisps, and an energy drink.

In Waitrose I usually have the prawn sushi, the big bao bun, and a kombucha drink.

I’ll try to avoid sandwiches in packets and go for some kind of salad with fish and some fruit. I don’t like meal deals so if forced to eat one and I’ll try and balance the disappointment by being healthy

Either a tuna or chicken salad sandwich, fruit or crisps and flavoured water. I’m so basic with mine but I usually eat them on a day when I don’t have time to take an actual break and need to pick something up that I can eat driving between service user visits!

Even a sandwich is not healthy

Sugar and salt

Crips give you a thirst.

I too make my own food. It is healthy. Work 14 hours straight so need a balance.

If I need to buy one, it will depend on what's left.

Rarely eat bread so would go for a salad or sushi, fruit and flavoured water.

I used to like the ham and cheese toastie, in the Tesco deal. But they stopped doing them. I often get a cheese and ham sub, sausage roll and a Costa, cos that on its own if the cost of the deal and I get a bean towards a free drink.

I'm a Greggs fan, they have way more choice than a supermarket meal deal. Their pricing structure isn't great though

Fully recommend! (Plus it's vegan).

No it's really not, but it's still potentially one of the best hang over cures around!

Stake bake, big bacon roll, coffee and some water will sort you right out.

It depends if I'm likely to be kissing J. If yes then probably a chicken and bacon sandwich, if not then maybe a Chicken Caesar wrap.

A bottle of Fanta or zero depending on how much coffee I've had in the morning

Double boost if they have one, salted caramel twix if not.
