i just noticed a few bits of food in my freezer which shop brought, recommends using within a month of freezing lol... been in there a bit longer than that....normally food doesnt last in my house, so just wondering if safe to use lol |

Perfectly safe.
If you're not sure, defrost it and decide using your common sense rather than a date on a label that more often than not is designed to get us to throw away perfectly good food so we have to buy more. |

I have food in the cupboard that is way out of date, some tinned stuff that is years past it's use by date...my theory is that if it's tinned it will last forever! Plus it's always handy to have some tinned stuff for the apocalypse. |
