Absolutely!

If you have a very different travelling style to your partner, it is best to travel apart then together IMHO!

One of the many things I miss about my late partner was our travelling style compatibility - we NEVER argued when we were on holidays together!

Unlike me and my ex-hubby - we fought like cat and dog!

For the last 3 yrs Kate has gone abroad with "the girls".

She's already booked for next yr too.

No probs in our house, I'm not the jealous type. I don't question her on what she's been doing.

I go away for few days at a time to do my thing.

My ex did it. A long way away too. She even went alone, not even with her girl friends. She enjoyed it.

Yes - used to do it all the time during my 28 year marriage as my ex-husband didn't like to fly. Funny thing I left him on 24 April - 25 April he flew to Jamaicia to see him mum...

Nope, we'd never do that. Not ever, ever, ever, ever.

We do everything together, including holidays

The separate holiday thing is an odd one to us, seems more of a singles thing rather than a true couple. Far more fun to enjoy life in the sun together isn’t it?

When I was married I used to bugger off touring on my bike for a week or two and the ex would go away with her friends, maybe that's why were single now

there is a happy medium......

'proper' 2 week holiday with your loved one...then a cheeky long weekend away with your mates...in my opinion.....perfect!!!!

have done, will do again...

We take our usual family holiday about twice a year if money and time permits, but i have also been to Ibiza with "the girls" as well in the past and have in fact arranged to go again next year !!..

Only because, he, loves to scuba dive and nip's off now and then to do a few days here and there.

Find the break away from each other is another fantastic addition to what we already have together !

We prefer taking family holidays, maybe just old fashioned, or maybe its more to do with my parents leaving us with relatives while sunning themselves up when we were younger, so know first hand what it feels like, who knows?

Don't see any mileage to be gained by getting married and then leaving me sha.. er.. wife.. at home! Seems a bit pointless to me.

No way,we hate being apart.

We'd both get no pleasure being somewhere, seeing sights etc that we know the other would have loved.

We enjoy being together too much to be voluntarily parted.

It's true that my ex-hubby and I started to drift apart when we decided to take separate holidays

Most of our hols are on the bikes so as we both ride we go together.

I have been on holiday without Zoe a couple of times as i used to have a lot more holidays than her.

Zoe was fine with me going to Dom Rep without her but was really glad i was sick for most of it

Understand this completely. My job has taken me to some of the most fantastic places round the world and the only thing I ever think about is I should be sharing this with Mrs Two2.

Whilst she occasionally goes for the odd girls weekend to a Spa we always holiday together, anything else would just seem wrong
