Hi folks.

There has been a lot of posts on the forum lately regarding 'timewasters and fakes'. I myself noticed 7 new profiles in my area last night, 5 of which are 'no longer on site' after a couple hours!

Now, my question is, would it not put peoples mind at ease if EVERYONE had to verify their pic BEFORE being able to recieve and send messages?

Whilst this may not deter the more determined fakes, it would deter the multitude of spur of the moment ones.

the spur of the moment fakes are already being deterred it would seem. as you said five out of seven left straight away. if they were fakes. its not hard to fake a pic with a user name on.

I don't think it should be compulsory no.

People can filter out non verified on their filters if they wish to though.

The profiles you talk about might not have been fake anyway, just changed their mind.

Lol, i just thought that if they have to get a pic verified before being able to send a message, then you know at least that they are the sex they say they are! If that makes sense?

It does not mean they are fake. They could have come home pissed and thought fab swingers was called easy shag or shags r us. Then realised it is not shags r us so deleted the profile.

Yeah I know what you mean, but I think if it is compulsory then it won't suit a lot of people who don't want to pic verify.

If I am honest, although we are PV'd we probably wouldn't have done it we had to to be able to use the site.

My post wasn't specifically about those 5 profiles. It was regarding timewasters and fakes.

Ah but you see theres the other thing...what makes a timewaster?

Someone joining a site to see what it is all about then deciding to delete the profile when they don't like what they see?

It is a possibilty.

Of course it could also have been people coming in from the pub and making profiles as a laugh, then deleted.
