"Aww no way ! Absoloute scum bags arnt they! You get out much in it? "
I’ve had a few long trips and a couple of day trips but I really need to pin down some weekends away, just tricky with shifts as I don’t get every weekend free and when I do I usually have other stuff to be doing!
I’ve only had it a year but it’s been one of the best things I’ve ever purchased! No boys allowed tho! lol it’s quite compact as it’s just standard sized so not much room for anyone except me but I love it!
How about you? |

Think that's the same weekend I'm at dubs in the middle
I must get up to Santa pod at least once this year but planning a few shows Bristol will be the main one for me this year |

"Thinking of buying a 1997 VW Transported. It looks mint but has 250,000 miles. Anyone have one with high mileage. I'm worried it's going to cost me a fortune!"
That's high but as long as there's proof of services regularly maintained then it will be fine.
My old T4 had 390k on it just look after them and regular services and they will go on forever |

Use to have a mark 2 GTi 16v suped up back in the day. One of the best cars I've driven, unfortunately wrote it off at a very speed.
Had 2 passat diesels since, workhorses. 98 model was brilliant ran for over 150k before I exchanged for a 2010 model, the engine seized up after just 60k. Not sure it was the supermarket diesel I was putting in it. Never used supermarket diesel since except in emergencies. |

If it’s been well looked after, chances are it’ll be fine mechanically. Is it a 1.9PD engine? Rust is gonna be the biggest worry, nothing to do with the miles, just the age of them.
I’d an 02 Golf with a 1.9 engine that hit 302,000 before the rust finally killed it and I’ve an 06 Skoda with the later 2.0 engine that’s just short of 235,000, but they don’t rust😃 |

I've a 09 caddy with 200 on the clock and it runs brilliantly

Bought a mk1 gti after seeing one in a mag as a teenager as my second car after learning to drive in a regular hatchback for a year. Owned it ever since but it's been off the road 10+ years after being halted mid project and not gotten back to since. It'll eventually be back on the road with a more modern engine. Had a t2 for a while. Lot of things to get up to with one of those. Usual other modern vag group cars over the years. |
