I do yes. Two of the three things I do feel more vocational, because I spent years doing them just for myself, before I thought I might get paid for doing them. I suppose now I’m ‘professional’ (which is a term that always makes me role my eyes), but I enjoy them just as much and I’m as passionate about them as I’ve always been. There are no cons. I love it! |

Right now, absolutely. I love so much about my job and the place of my work I feel happy. I’m also damn good at it as well and that simply goes because of what I said above. I’m very lucky. |

I consider my job a vocation. I hate the reason for my job, but by god do I love my job. I’m immensely passionate about it and the teams I manage are exceptional humans and I learn so much from them, they are truly inspirational. I’m incredibly lucky.
The con, the reason for the job, the governmental policies that constrain us from resolving the issue we tackle, the hostile environment that means people are marginalised and the traumas that our client group have faced and do face. But by god I wouldn’t want to be doing anything else. Ever. |

"Yes definitely. I love my job. Everyday different. And I get high satisfaction at the end of the day. I'm a plasterer.
Potentially a nude one

Last year no. It was a different job and I hated it. |

I’ve always wanted to be a midwife, which I consider a vocation. However I “fell” in to a different line of work, which is no where near as worthy, but the company I now work for pays much better and as a single parent this provides us with a better life (financially and time wise).
I fear when I’m no longer “parenting” I might be too old (I wasn’t a particularly young mom). |

My job started off as a little arrogance to my friends back home. They were doing A levels and I wasn’t clever enough! lol it developed into a vocation as I got older, or maybe a way of life as opposed to a working life. As I moved up the ranks I began helping youngsters within the job, and now I’ve ventured into coaching, teaching within the job.
It’s nice when you get recognition, and like most Govt ministries I’m not here for the money, but am tied in to its pension. So silly to leave.
However it has paid for my masters, and I’ve now got post nominals after my name! |

I love both my jobs. Having two that I enjoy and that add value to people's lives is awesome.
Waaaay less money than I used to earn years back, but the happiness is worth far more than the financial benefits. |

Same. Self employed for 20+ years. Even at Amazon I earned a shit load more than what I’m on now. But would I change it? Hell no.
You can put a price on being happy. |

Mrs TMN x"
I do have a vocation and skill set for a couple others but focused on this one. It was the job I wanted to do and have done it more specifically in the field I wanted and still kind of do, though want to get more central to that field. There are so many cons though, it’s a rough ride and why many leave the industry and never get to fully realise their dream. When you do though, the pros make all that seem like nothing |

Mrs TMN x" My view on this never do something you enjoy doing for work because eventually their will come a time when you can't enjoy it |
