Hurray !.
The science world has invented a working transporter , a la Star Trek .
And now you can have your body digitally encoded and you will reappear somewhere else .
Now whilst encoded the computers can readjust your body to correct any ageing defects or injuries .
Would you and what age would you like to reappear as and where would you go ?.

I'd be glad that we finally had teleportation. As long as I was reconfigured back the way I started I wouldn't change anything. Except my height. Leg length.
It's Science week so maybe we will finally have this unveiled. |

Could it not also be a time traveling machine? I would like to go back and meet the first idiot who thought it would be good to mix mint in with chocolate and shoot him or her lol. |

I can see a major problem here, cos if the above poster manages to go back and shoot the person who put mint and chocolate together, and other people shot the inventors of things they didnt like, half of us wouldn't have enjoyed some of the things we know and love ............. just saying .......
I would go back to an age when everything was legal for me to do, with the knowledge and experience I have now and boy would I have a ball, bring it on  |

I'm quite happy with the age I am (coff, 39, coff, coff), but I'd like the arthritis and artificial hip joint taken away and replaced with fully functioning double-jointed hips so I can still get my ankles round my ears...oh and just drop me in any decent swinger's club on a busy night to try it out  |

teleportation is theoretically possible.
If you can measure the position, charge, spin, direction and other properties of every particle in your body you can transfer it to another place.
Of course that transmission of data would take at our current tech level about 4 times longer than the current age of the universe. And on top of that there would not be two of you. which one gets destroyed so you can carry on your life. |
