A quick race tonight, with the winner announced at 10pm. All contenters are racing in rollerskates they've not had any practice in. As ever, dispicable acts of foul play will be overlooked. This race has no rules. A juicy steak for the victor.
1) Gracie - The greyhound
2) Charles - The cheetah (and a cheater)
3) Purdy - The puma
....And they're off and racing!

A couple of early backers for Charles so far....
Not much in it at the momment as all contenders are learning how to rollerskate. I've got Gracie the greyhound by a nose at the first bend. |

Unfortunately has been distracted by a fan photo opportunity. He's pulled up for a picture. Apparently he was a dancer in the musical Cats.  Oh, hang on, he's off again and catching up. |

The first lap of the track is done. Two more to go. It's Gracie in front, she left some dreamies on the track and the puma and cheetah have stopped for a snack. Darstardly from the greyhound! |

Switching to commentary as they hit the final straight:
And Gracie who's all ran out is biting hold of purdy's tail to stay in this race as Charles takes the lead by a whisker at the moment but Purdy has just bitten his tail as well. They're dragging each other along now. .... Charles's roller skates have tangled with Purdy's and they've all finished up in a tangles heap..... Now they're all having a fight ten metres in front of the finish line......Gracie breaks free. but Charles has grabbed her tail. In the confusion Purdy the puma makes a dash for the line.... but Gracie has tied his rollerskate laces together, he tumbles, It between Charles and Gracie now..... Nose to nose ..... Is a Photo finish.

No I'm not but can only apoligise. There is a technical fault in the photo finish result. I'll let you know as soon as I do. "

He certainly is. He took a bung before the race not to win it. I did say there were no rules to this fix.... I mean contest. |
