I used to see success as having a good career, nice house, new car, 2 nice holidays a year, stuff like that.
Now I see success as having healthy relationships with those that matter, family, friends, lovers.
I’ve never succeeded at either though  |

I have always thought success was having the freedom to be able to dance to your own tune. I still think that. I also now think that knowing the kids have/are turning out well and that they are as well equipped as they can be to handle what life will throw at them is what matters most. |

When I was younger, success was so much more related to financial things but through necessity rather than choice. Now, I know that success is about being happy and knowing that our loved ones are happy. Other than that, nothing really matters. |

I don't feel like i had any success when i was younger - i was lacking role models and meaningful, positive interaction
I genuinely think making it to 53 has been my greatest success |

I’ve always wanted to be happy. So I dunno how different it is. But I guess my main difference is probably that success isn’t about making my family proud it’s almost entirely about my happiness. Not just a little bit about my happiness |
