Yes.

Once upon a time there was a beautiful princess who had two friends who were rather verbose. They both worked in the castle, doing similar jobs but for the king and queen respectively.

They both liked the princess and were happy to regale her with oral storytelling, delighted in witty quips and enjoyed the odd fumble in the stables with visiting castle guests.

One day the princess thought to herself 'oh, they should really talk'. So she set about arranging for them to talk via pigeon mail. The two friends quickly discovered they did have things in common. They visited the stables together, enjoyed listening to the travelling bard and drinking the finest mead. The princess was happy. Her friends were happy.
