Young adults, fab, and life.

When I was 18-23 I had lots of face pics online, including pictures with my face and NSFW stuff in the same shot. Now I look back I think woah that was really risky for my career, education, and employment. Back then I just didn’t really realise it, but now I know my chosen career could have been over before it even started.
Now when I see some young adults of that same age range on fab, with their face and body / action shots, it makes me think “I hope it goes well for them”.
I guess I’m thinking of younger people because typically you’re at the beginning of education and career, less likely to be financially established, less likely to have access to greater personal resources, all of which help manage a difficult situation.
What do people think? Is it riskier when you’re in the early stages of setting up your life? Are people outing your fablife just not as common as some people worry it is?
Any info’ on face pics and the law regarding employment would be interesting.
This is in no way a judgemental post in case anyone takes it that way. |

If you aren't phased by it why should anyone else be, its like a face tattoo youve got it for life so you'd better love it and sod the consequences or else why have it. Life is for living not worrying about what might happen |

Yeah good point. I guess though, sometimes the impact of the consequences are only felt down the line. On the other hand, you can’t live in fear and worry for your whole life. |

So we as a generation didn’t really have to worry about things
These days some employers need to be take up on Criminal charges for the levels thay go to
I have heard it all for soical media snooping to literally contact data gathering places like google and such to find you web browsing history and what not

You're hardly 'living life' when you post a picture or statement that could ruin it. It's not exactly a picture of you pissed or sticking two fingers up. There's an awareness you should have at 18-23. Anything else is ignorance |

Yeah exactly! Not to mention it’s easier for pissy colleagues who like to stiry up trouble, to find and report things back.
It’s got to the point you can pay services to scrub as much of your information off the internet as possible. Mainly regarding social media activity. |

There is still a big risk though. Fab could be considered an open minded place (which of all sites it isn’t) and it’s easy to forget the rest of the world isn’t like that. |

Yip it is getting to that level to be honest |

Seeing the way that social media posts from years ago come back to haunt people I think that unless there's a massive change in attitude towards displaying naked pictures on line, there might very well be a few people who regret their on line content in the future. |
