Toast?

I love nothing better than a fresh loaf toasted with peanut butter and washed down with a glass of milk.

What's your choice of topping?

There was an article on Radio 4 in the week about eating insects.

We in the west don't, as a rule , go in for toasted locust etc .

But the foodstuff with the highest amount of insect body parts in is apparently peanut butter !!.

Me and my 3 year old and just enjoyed maple cured bacon and an egg on our toast with lashings of brown sauce

Washed down with a nice, scolding, strong brew!

Overdone and almost burnt, left to go cold and crispy in the toaster then lashings of Lurpack, then dunked in tea, oh yes, heaven. Sometimes with marmite too but have to be in the mood.

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack!

I seldom eat toast, but, if it`s at home it`s usually with a serving of baked beans. If I`m at a hotel and I have it with my full English breakfast it has to be butter and ..... MARMITE!!!!

Fareham

A thick slice of uncut fresh bread with butter and thick cut marmalade. Yum.

Also love buttered toast topped with a fried egg - sunny side up of course!

"I let mine go cold and then slather it with salted butter..."

Me too, but I also like my toast slightly burned then scraped, then left to go cold and spread with Lurpak or Dairylee!!
