I misread the title of another forum topic and thought it was asking for people's favourite Tamla Motown artists/albums/songs. It wasn't - so I thought I'd ask instead.

Meatloaf released a song on the Mowtown label called "Who's the Leader".

Craig Charles played it once on his 6 Music Funk and Soul show.

Seems untraceable though.

Edwin Starr covered it. I heard that they used the same backing track from the Meatloaf version and that if you listen carefully you can here his vocals in the background of Starr's version.

North West

I can't pick just one song! Mrs NC has already suggested a few that I'm saying yes to as well.

Also:

You Can't Hurry Love - The Temptations

Tracks of My Tears - Smokey Robinson & The Miracles

What Becomes of the Brokenhearted - Jimmy Ruffin

My Guy - Mary Wells

+ lots more

And, possibly controversial but -

End of the Road - Boyz II Men

Incidentally, I just checked and the Meatloaf version has been uploaded to YouTube a few times so you shouldn't have any trouble finding it there.
