The sun can be bad for you if you spend too much time in it's glare and don't use a sunscreen, but it will affect different people differently.
Carbon destroying the Earth? well, no and yes.
Life on Earth is carbon based, no carbon means no trees or animal life. Carbon is essential for the preservation of life on the planet.
However, the carbon based lifeform known as humans is doing a great job at destroying the eco system by overpopulating, deforestation, and pollution.

"this is the second time I've read this on the forum today and I disagree with you!"
I just realised I got that the wrong way round, due to knowing you are being sarcastic! (I hope)
I assert that the sun is good for me and, while I might accept that carbon affects the environment, I can't see it destroying the terra firma Earth just yet. |

If the sun disappeared every single thing on this planet would die. How can the most abundant element on earth be bad for it? Really, trees need carbon dioxide to live. Does anyone remember Richard Bellamy? He got cancelled for saying the same thing he was no fool |

"And carbon isn't destroying the earth
I'm not sure about that, I've had skin cancer twice from the sun." sorry to hear that my friend died from skin cancer aged 33 left behind 2 young children she never went on sunbeds or did sunbathing. She was absolutely gorgeous inside and out. Tragic |
