The weirdest thing happened last night...

Something strange happened to me last night. I was unable to sleep so I was doing a crossword at about 3.30am. As I was answering 7 down I glanced at my right hand and saw that the ring I usually wear had vanished. I never take it off and certainly hadn't in this case. So I went looking for it. I looked high and low with a torch for about an hour, still couldn't find it. I went back to the bedroom and there it was, sitting on the night stand, in the very first place I looked.
So, this ring literally disappeared from my finger, cannot be found for at least an hour and then, weirdly, appears out of nowhere in a place I'd already searched and in a very obvious place.
So, what do you think? And has anything weird ever happened to you? |

Yeah odd things like that often happen to us.
Missing glasses turning up inside a rolled up shopping bag at the bottom of a pile in the garage
A missing wedding ring appearing in the garden several years later
We just assume that the actual moment these things went missing wasn't noticed by us therefore we didn't know where to look.
No idea how your ring disappeared and reappeared though |

I've had stuff like that happening all the time too, usually keys, money, phone, glasses and things like that. I'd put them down and then can't find them and then they reappear in the most obvious place. I usually put it down to me being a moron, but I'm not too sure now. |

A couple months ago, I had a naked woman in my bed. Offered to make her a coffee. She said yes. I closed the bedroom door behind me. Returned back with 2 cups of coffee in my hands. I stood in front of the door for a second to think how to open it. Suddenly the handle turned and the door wide opened in front of me. I instantly got in the room thinking how nice of her anticipating me and being so thoughtful. Just to find her in the bed under the covers. She never opened the door for me. |

It is a possibility I suppose, except I was entirely awake and aware throughout the whole incident. I know there's such a thing as a micro-sleep but I don't think that happened as I had been doing a crossword at the time. So I can't say that's the answer. |

I haven't spoken to my family in 5 years due to a stubborn dad & stupid feud. Last week i dreamt I was back as a kid, good times. So much so i thought time to get in touch.
