I miss absolutely nothing when I'm on holiday. I won't buy a paper, have the radio on and I won't watch any TV. I like to totally relax and immerse myself into the local culture. I admit to often shedding a tear upon having to come home.
I love home and wouldn't want to live anywhere else though.
