I've got a very rare Saturday evening off work and I'd love to do something. My friends are all coupled up or have young families so last minute plans don't work for them.
I'd love drinks and chat a social evening with someone interesting and fun so contemplated using this feature.
Has it worked well for anyone or is it actually a bit of a waste of time? X |

It has never worked for me. But I still try everytime. It’s like opening the fridge hoping food will magically appear. It never does. But you keep opening it. |

We’ve used it a couple of times with mixed results - the first time we met a gent who spoke Italian (C is fluent too) and they spoke in Italian throughout as we both massaged her. It was hot AF

I use the meet me sometimes but sounds like you’re after a social/date. I would not use it for that. Look who’s near and approach someone you like. Make sure they have decent verification xx |

I reckon you’ll just get shit loads more random unsuitable people messaging, making even more work for your inbox.
Even as a bloke I always found it easier to meet if I was chatting with less people. You can focus and build a connection. Potential dates will always know if you’re messaging hundreds of other people. I guess it depends what kind of meet you’re aiming for?  |

Yes I would quite like "the date experience." I suppose my thinking is that we have time to chat a bit before Saturday to ensure it won't be awful for us both.

Ha, not a lot to tell really. I was let down going to a club by a friend. My car was out of action so ruled that out and I was dressed ready to go... I didn't want to waste that effort.
So I put up a 'Meet Me'. Since they're so rare any female will garner lots of responses I'd imagine. I filtered through them, sent a few messages to one person and met up later that evening.
I'd do it again, I prefer spontaneous rather than planning anything too long winded! |

When I post meets, the number of views and messages goes way up. You still need to do the same high level filtering of the mad dross but at least you get your news out there.
You can add a fair bit of information into the posts, so you can specify the important details. Yes can add more on your profile page, to further highlight what's essential.
You'll still get FAF immediate messages  but you may get enough from reasonable users, who've filtered themselves as wanting what you're offering, with a good match. Definitely worth a try |

We use it to advertise what clubs or night we are going to. It worked once but it usually leads to messages asking to meet them somewhere else because they aren't members.
It never hurts to use it though. |
