I tidied the diniing room table this morning becasue we had visitors.. yet 3 hours later, the lappys on there, an ashtray, two empty plates, a pile of paperwork, and a host of assorted crumbs and dribbles of drink..
so are you a neat and tidy person, is your table cleared after every meal and then the center piece/ vase candle holder put back exactly in the center?
or are you like me, and with the best will in the world.. the table looks " lived on!!" |

Mine has bits and pieces on it that should not be there. Its one of those places where people walk into the room and just empty their pockets onto it.
Ive never been one to have a 'show house' so doesnt bother me much. Only when we have visitors. |

We're like you, a jug with flowers in, a photo in a frame, two books, some paperwork, my kindle and some random receipts |

Dinning table top comes off to make a pool table, so between family or friends gathering for a meal then it has balls and sticks on it when it's just the two of us we eat off our laps or at the kitchen table, which is one of the small built for two type tall tables so contains a fruit bowl and the salt dish. |

I recently got rid of my coffee table as it just collected 'stuff'
Dining room table is now collecting that 'stuff' and currently has on it my handbag, some glade vanilla airfreshner, some CIF actilift spray and an old Blu Ray player (my daughter decided to cram some toast into it and wont work.. MEH) |

My table is my office, there's only enough room for one persons plate if we were to sit at it!
It's ok though, i'm planning on reorganizing my office space today |
