Amber means you are now in a separate time-space "bubble", where you face an existential crisis.
Do you go, and hope you make it across to the other side, and not get clocked by a camera ?
Do you stop, wondering if you are able to do so safely because perhaps your speed is a little too high ?
Do you wonder that if you stop sharply, the vehicle behind will also stop in time ? How big is that vehicle, as you look in your rear-view mirror ? Could it squash you ? Or will it be a little nudge ?
And if you've just arrived at the light and didn't notice the colour change sequence, is this amber on it's own (stop), or amber and red (prepare to go) ? And can you remember that from 30+ years ago anyway ?

One day, when everything is autonomous, we won't have to worry about all this. Let the AI figure it out
