how many here have never swung
Jump to: Newest in thread
Judging by the amount of ‘teenage wanking fantasy’ messages we get from men on here, I’d say it’s 2/3rds of the site.
This site is split into 4 parts - those that swing, those that meet for additional sex needs, those that are dipping their toes in to see if they like it and the complete fantasists who will never meet or do anything sexual with anyone else other than in their mind.

"To swing you need to be in a couple no?
I have met couples...does that count? But not from here! "
I agree. The way I see the definition of swinging is COUPLES. |

probably about 80% on this site, most people seem to use it for sex dating one-on-one.
Btw, women's lifestyle mags have articles and tips on how to arrange threesomes so even that has become mainstream |

Swinging in the 1960s was about not being in couples, free love, no attachments. Then people grew up, got jobs, got married had kids, realised their lives were mundane and looked for that spark of fun again. In the 1970s it was dubbed 'wife swapping' by the tabloids. That's where the couples element comes in.
Single people swing, probably more so than some swinging couples do. |

That’s about right. Other than a very few, presumably most of those in group one will have started in group 2 or 3 and taken time to find their groove. Always worth remembering for the truly committed. |

Have done clubs, although stopped when pandemic hit. Depending on your definition of swinging, yes, as a TV joining couples and singles in NSA sexual activities. For my part though generally hands/mouth only, or even just being photographer for a couple. Again very little since the pandemic. Also pre-pandemic, used to enjoy a bit of dogging with friends.
So yes, I have taken part in the sex opportunities facilitated by fab, but no I've not been part of a couple doing traditional swinging with other couples.
As for the future, my hope is for fwb type connections and/or more-than-one-off-meets with couples. To allow getting to properly know people and have mutual enjoyment, rather than spending months/years trying to find people for single meets. |

We don't consider ourselves swingers, and have never pretended to be. Have we been to clubs? Yes. Do we have genuine friends that we meet socially and sometimes get naked with and enjoy threesome and foursome fun? Yes. Do we sometimes meet alone for FwB type connections? Yes to this as well.
Does this make us swingers? No, not as far as we're concerned. It takes a lot for us to feel comfortable with people, and it's aways about an actual friendship rather than a brief experience Xx |

Interesting. And everyone is of course entitled to define themselves as they wish. But it begs the question of what you think swingers do that is different to what you do |

This is us too - some people will say we are swingers but we don’t really meet couples (purely for the fact we’ve not established a connection with both enough to get naked with them). We have plenty of couples as friends in the lifestyle.
In clubs when I see a big bed of writhing people and they are swapping over to different people - they would be my definition of a swinger - who enjoy the act of sex over a connection.
We are after a connection first so it doesn’t feel like we are swingers. We have hardly played in clubs, other than with each other.

Exactly this. And of the few experiences we've had in clubs with people we first met on the night, those people have now been friends for several years x |

"Or been to a club ."
I really want to be but most people I have met on Fab, even couples on here seem to want one on one
For me and I’m sure a lot of women it’s like a hook up connector
I want to swing but end up with 1 on 1’s |
