Not sure on the naming supermarkets... we'll see if a mod can advise

I budget shopping based on essentials and luxuries. For example toilet roll is an essential. Shower gel is a luxury

Maybe we can all help each other with some supermarket deals?

Morr*sons

5 cream eggs for 2 quid. That's 40p an egg.

8 pies for 4.50, that's 56p a pie.

12 yogurts for a fiver when they are 90p each, that's a saving of 5.80, or 41p each.

.

.

Let's see if I lead balloon in a thread lol

I would argue toilet paper is a "nice to have". To be honest a Japanese toilet which washes your bits is the way forward.

Food isn't worth budget, you buy what you like in my view

Oooh, I mostly shop at Lidl - they tend not to have multibuy deals - probably because they're already pretty cheap. Between them and Aldi, I only go to Sainsbury because they stock the dog and cat food I prefer.

Multi buys tend to always be high sugar, high fat, high salt. Do twofers with some real food and you have my attention.

I’m in service stations more than any sane person should be and the quality of ‘food’ and pricing is ridiculous. It’s all shite.

Only thing I ever buy multi of these days is water!
