Users having to take 400 pics to get the right one.
So heres a hack for you lot.
If you own a smart TV or TV with a firestick, screenshare your phone to your TV (apple users might need an app)
Position your camera, use front facing camera for the best quality and set a timer.
Now whatever you see on the TV is how your shot will look.
Put a timer on your phone, strike the pose, look at your TV to make sure you are posing how you want and wait for the timer to take the pic.
Bing bang bosh. |

"That sounds a bit of a faff"
It might be the first time you do it, but after a couple of trys it'll take about a minute to set up. And once it's set, you can take as many as you like.
Oooooorrr, you can take a pic, go to your phone, be unhappy with it and do that another 30 times |

"There’s nothing wrong with taking 400 pictures to get the right one. This approach has always served me well. Each to their own. "
This my approach, because I enjoy taking photos, and selecting my favourite ones is part of the fun Xx |

"Another tip is do a video and then you can take the cut from it "
I do this often. The most awkward of videos at times and then screenshot the poses I liked. |

That’s what happens when you share advice no one asked for, poppet.
I thanked you. Wasn’t that enough? |

I tried that and nothing came up on my TV screen but the little old lady across the street keeps smiling at me now and waving her tv remote when I pass. |

Selfies are rarely the best pictures.
Instead, get a good friend to to take spontaneous pictures of you which illustrate the rapport you have with them.
A natural smile elicited by the photographer is always better than a posed one. |
