Inspired by another thread how many reptile keepers are on here and what have you got?? Snakes, lizards I love them all... Even spiders and scorpions.
So come on and tell us about your weird and wonderful pets!!
I've had a female royal python, a boa constrictor, 2 bearded dragons and a savannah monitor!!
Oh and 4 rats but I kept them away from the snakes!! Lol... |

Only snake i have is in my trousers 
Seriously though that kind of thing gives me the creeps maybe i have watched too many documentaries about what they can do.
I like fish be it coldwater,tropical or marine and would like an avairy. |

Weve got a royal python, a carpet python, two corns, one carolina corn.
Did have a beardy, two camleons, a blue tongued skink, tree frogs but theyve died over the years, other pets too numerous to mention.
Oh and we have shirley pup,.a 7 year old yorkie x |

Love skinks! I always wanted a chameleon too but got told they don't like being handled much!
If I ever get another snake id love an emerald tree boa but they're a lot of work x |

This is a real fear of mine, going to someones home and they have a tarantula, snake or rats. I could not stay there, even though they'd be in vivariums etc, I'd be jumpy the whole time. Hopefully if anyone did have them then they'd say so beforehand.

My ex's mum was like that. Hated the snakes. Although to be honest it was handy at keeping her away. Hahaha!! X |

Kelvin, loved being handled, steve didnt. Skink was really friendly x

I called my boa bubbles. Don't like names like that but she had such an evil glint in her eye it was ironic. Ha. She turned out to be a nasty cow anyway. Hope she's chilled out now she's older or I wouldn't wanna be on the wrong end of that!  |

I have 3 terrapins,
1 is a false map (about 10") and also 2 river cooters (about 9")
I used to have 2 garter snakes but they died from a heart disease 
I love all unusual pets

When we first moved in together we had a tarantula called Boris.
After a few years we found out she was female but we kept the name. We had her for ages, died of old age. |

Only thing I'm thinking about having pet rats is iv read that they can attract wild rats into your home while I don't fancy lol, I would love rats cus they are clever aren't they and will come to you when called x |

Yeah if you've got the patience and get them really tame when they're young you can get them to do alsorts. Mine were adult when I got them so they were fat and lazy lol x |

Iv always got time and patience for my pets I'm still trying to sort out our big male snake its taken since last may to try and calm his agressiveness down, his calmed down a bit but still trying lol when we came to us he would attack the glass even if we only walked into the room, because he was mistreated before we had him.
But did your rats ever attract wild rats due to smells etc x |

The shed as they grow, unfortunately he couldn't get out. Vet advised me to put him in the fridge, so he would contract then break free. Sadly it didn't work |

No but I've never ever seen a wild rat where I live and I lived in a first floor flat so they prob wouldn't of been able to get in anyway. I've not heard that before tbh but it makes sense I suppose. X |

Someone we know said they may attract them but rats only live for two to three years, I saw three in pets at home in the adoption part n I fell in love with them straight away one was blue/grey and the other were white with red eyes which both are the colours we want lol, I'm scared of their tails tho dunno why lol x |

I think I may need to handle a rat first before I purchase one or two lol.. we had a wild mouse come in our house just because Xmas and when I saw it one morning I screamed the house down I was petrified lol but there was no way I could have killed it but without a week I had got rid of it so I think that's why I think I may need to handle one before getting my own so I face my fears lol x |
