Running with Monkeys

Brake hose, pads, power steering belt, stabiliser link and free up a seized calliper

Not a lot but a pain to do

Oh .

What was this on ?.

Years ago I did an engine change on our old Range Rover and went right through her checking and changing stuff and then took her for an MOT to see what else needed doing and to my pleasure she went straight through.

I was walking on air ..

A peugeot 306 it's 13 year old but it's only done 30k legitimate miles, it's costing just as much as a high miler but I guess that's because it's being driven rather than spending it's life parked

We just got rid of a Peugeot 106 that I picked up for £250 from a scrap yard and kept it for three years .

All it cost me was four tyres and a second hand shock absorber to keep it on the road.

Was sad to see it go .

Years ago my first car was a VW Bettle K reg, I was always fixing this or that but it was the easiest engine change I ever did.
