People have met husbands and wives on here so why is it unreasonable to expect that people won't date?

What does that change?
Swinging has sex as its foundation. The foundation of sex is consent. Consent is sacrosanct, even if you think someone's reasons for consenting or not consenting are absurd.
The "but it's a swinging/ sex site" objections always seem to be saying "therefore you should change how you use the site". Nope. Not if they don't consent to that. |

With thousands of people here, with diverse interests, it's a site that developed from swinging interests. But, as it involves people interacting, you could find a partner to date.  . Shock/horror - it won't kill you and you don't even need to meet anyone, let alone date them.

I've seen a surprising amount of posts from people, usually couple's, that insist fab is a swingers site.
I'm sure it was at some point but there's a lot more going on than swinging on fab these days.

I wasn't looking to date, but met my partner here over 8 years ago.
Some use it as a sex site, some just use the forums or upload pics.
It's not one thing to everyone & as long as people are upfront about what they're here for, there's no issue in my book. |

I've been and am on many adult sex sites all over the world. This is a common question on them all.
First thing to remember is that Everyone is allowed to say No Thanks. Everyone has their likes and dislikes so if you aren't what someone finds sexually attractive then don't take it to heart, there is others who will.
Even when the Ex and I went Dogging, there were some guys that either she or I would not be comfortable with and say No Thanks. |

Having been on various dating sites previously, I would say Fab is by far the best.
I have made some fantastic friends on here and find that at least people are more upfront and honest about what they are looking for in general.
I don’t think you could rule anything out really. |
