Morning one & all
So I was wondering… when you view profiles, if they have a great bio to read but no photos are you still interested ? Does it spark your intrigue to find out more?
Or does the profile need both write up and photos to make to contact?
Always curious |

Aside from viewing profiles from the forå (friends, forum dwellers, games, challenges, fabs, profile advice...) I ·mostly· only view profiles that have messaged me.
If the profile is well written, unique in some way with narrative that stands out, and just altogether interesting then I'll accept it at face value. I would probably reply and engage in some friendly dialogue. |

A random profile I’ve come across? If there’s no photos I probably won’t contact them.
But if it’s someone I’m responding to because they messaged first, or because of a forum chat? I wouldn’t care. I’m clearly already interested by what they’ve said. |

"A great profile pic helps but the write up also helps but no substitute for meeting in person "
I agree. I can’t get my head around how people agree to sex before they’ve even met! I think I must be odd. |

No pics no Thankyou
I don’t even care about the bio. The bio just tells me if I shouldn’t message them
No bio will tell me more about a person than 5 minutes actually talking to them. That’s why I’d prefer to just go out for a drink |

You follow with your fingers and read the beautiful freckles on their face like a sonnet written in braille.

A great bio gets a big tick.
Great pics gets another big tick.
Great chats gets a big tick.
But ultimately it’s what they are like in person too but what goes before really helps as that makes us decide whether it’s worth a social or not.
If they had no pics my immediate go to is that they are hiding from someone or not attractive.
A woman maybe may be different as they could be trying to reduce the amount of traffic in their inbox.
A guy hiding makes no sense - you’ve got to be making your profile as appealing to others and putting yourself above the thousands of other guys profiles.

I never make first contact so it doesn't really matter what anyone has on their profile.
I haven't used the search function or viewed profiles in about 5 years.
If someone messages me then I will look at their profile.
I will always respond but the tone of my response will be influenced by the effort they have put into their bio, pics and that initial message.
I find it difficult to respond positively when someone gets in touch to say how much they like my pics but they have none on show. |

I like a ‘complete’ profile with a little of everything pics/bio….. but I do sometimes find myself intrigued to find out more if their write up has interested me without photos ..I guess my imagination has filled in photo blank… and I wonder if it matches |

I read profiles I do, so many skip it and go on photos. Each to our own.
I like an honest description and honest in date photos not 2008 and out of focus.
I am not meeting no one because. |

To me a profile becomes interesting via the written content, less so because of the photos.
Reading between the lines of a profile I get an idea of the person and whether they might be a match in terms of what we both want.
I rule in or out based on the write up, for sure. |

I view it like food.
You can describe it to me in great detail, tell me the ingredients, how appetising it looks, how great it tastes, how amazing it smells.
But if it looks like roadkill that was thrown in a blender, then cooked using a combination of lighter fluid and naplam, and something I wouldn't ever want in my mouth...........
Yep. Pictures are very useful. |

What peaks our intrest is the sum of the parts. Yes we are driven by personality and nature but a level of physical attraction is important to us too. A great bio is great but we want a sneaky peak at the person/s behind it. We're unlikely to say nice bio but can we see a picture of you. Just more likely to it down as a nearly there profile and move on. Plus in all honesty the clinical in us does question what are the hiding? |

I like a good bio, with a good message or chat that would be enough to interest me, but I would like a little pic of something, what gets shown and how, even if its just one picture is part of it for me. |
