Hello all
Just out of curiosity, is there a limit to the amount of friends you can have on Fab.
I’ve noticed some people have unfriended me, but not blocked so I’m thinking, did they need to to accept more?
Or does this mean they never plan on meeting again/seeing ever?
And apologies if I’m sounding really naive, I’m wondering what peoples opinions are |

Probably just having a spring clean, or have moved on, I wouldn't take umbrage, they may have decided they won't meet you again, for innocent reasons, perhaps they fell head over heels with you and feel guilty. |

I've never had more than 10 or 12 friends at any one time on here and I delete some now and again if we haven't spoken in a long time or something happens and I no longer wish to have them as friends |

Ha, yeah I suppose I’m okay with them moving on. Can’t take that personally |

people use there friend list differently .... i use mine just for people i have met and wish to stay in contact with ... i use my hotlist for people that im talking to and getting on with..
i know alot of people remove friends when they realise that nothing is going to happen ...everyone use them different i would not try to over think it jus accept it and move on |

The word friend means different things to different people on fab. It may just be they haven’t interacted with you for a while and don’t see it happening anytime soon.
Or they’ve decided to keep their tally very low and ditched all but the closest. |

I've never truly grasped the notion of the friends facility on here. In any case I've never had more than a dozen¹² friends on my list. I keep that circle close and carefully curated, jettisoning anyone I haven't spoken to in a very long time or for any other reason. |

"If I don't interact with someone after a while then I unfriend "
One was a very recent interaction, just very far away from me so I think that’s why, plus we’re speaking on another app
And I think the other just has that many friends. He has an insane amount of Veri’s, so think he’s just moved on. Which is fine |

For me it's as others have said already. If I send messages to a person on my friends list and they go unread/ignored or they spend days or weeks between being online. I cease to pursue and remove for those reasons. |

Wait, what……. you folks still have friends on here.
I thought that function on the site had been removed , at least that’s what everyone told me when my friends list had gone when I logged on one day……….. Bastards! ![](/icons/s/mrgreen.gif) |

We have over 400 of the finest pics in our friends folder so people want to be friends with us as they are perverts
We unfriend people when conversations stop or there’s no chance of meeting so no point being friends.

I agree with this. I knock them out if the conversation runs dry. No point. |

"I clear out friends after couple of weeks non contact usually "
So If we were ever to friend, I just need to send a 'Hows you' message before the 14 days is up..... I can do that. ![](/icons/s/mrgreen.gif) |

Mildly excessive to knock someone out! |

Gosh, do people have lots of friends on here? I only have three, but I find it tricky making new friends on here. I find people tend to switch off pretty easily with me or perhaps I'm not what they're looking for. To answer the question though, I feel if you have good reciprocity and/or connection with them, then there isn't really a limit so to speak. I'd only unfriend if there is a lack of keeping in touch/talk. |

My funniest unfriending experience didn't actually happen.
I was told off in the forums by someone for unfriending them and not giving a damn about our friendship.
The fact we had never been fab friends, had only exchanged a total of 3 messages and I had blocked her 18 months before didn't seem to register. |
