That's lucky. Quite a few primadonas around as they know they are in demand. Many don't even turn up and often what they can do limited to pure plumbing jobs. Not many take a full installation job on like a bathroom for example and it becomes stressful having to manage a project like that yourself instead of them doing it all. Perhaps the one you know does. |

I would try stealing him but too far.Though they could stay till they finished the job if not local and I can offer a decent meal at the end of each day too  |

Yeah both at the same time isn’t good. They ripped out 2 here and left us with one. I was dying for a wee yesterday and the bloody plasterer was in the one that still had a loo! I need to not leave it till last minute |

One of my long term fuck buddy is a self employed plumber and what he says is well captured by a BBC Radio 4 podcast (available on BBC Sounds, The Bottom Line "Tradespeople" 5 Oct 2023).
The Internet has been a disruptor and websites like CheckaTrade is not managed well and is not fit for purpose. The influx of Eastern European workers, then Brexit now means it's all a bit of a dogs dinner... |

It's like Facebook but specific to your local area. Local tradesmen are recommended there, so hope you can find a decent one...! Good luck! |
