I don't understand how people can generalise accents so much.
Scottish for example...Glasgow is far different to Edinburgh.
Irish...Dublin sounds nothing like Cork.
North East...Newcastle and Sunderland sound subtley different.
Variety is the spice of life in my opinion. |

Being brought up in Glasgow I was used to the Glaswegian accent in its many forms. Moved to Ayrshire and it's just the same, so many different accents all around but can't be quantified just to the country of its origin. |

Anything with a Latin feel, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, South and central American accents to the front. And in general, most people for whom English is a second, or third or more, language have accents that make me swoon.
For the UK, I've got a soft spot for a particular accent with a touch of West Midlands in it.

Italian was rated the sexiest of all the world's languages. And the Irish accent has come out on top with more than half the votes as the world's sexiest accent.
