So January's 36753 days have come and gone and we're already in the second month of 2024 - WTAF??
I've little to complain about today, bar the usual 'why did I set up all my direct debits to go out on the first of the month so what looked like a healthy bank balance now looks like it's been royally fucked in the arse?'
Had a lovely nights sleep spooning and woke up this morning to sunshine.
Hopefully you lot can come up with some suitable rant worthy vents, as tbh I'm struggling this morning to stop smiling.
Over to you my fine fab forum loungers..... |

"Sick of taxing car every year and sod all gets done about state of roads "
Road repairs come from council tax, not VED (there hasn't been road tax in years - it was abolished in 1937).
But yeah - potholes are always rant worthy. |

I can probably join the PIP assessors rant soon enough. Though they don't seem to be in a rush.
I am narked at a deadline not being met, it's been more than 90 days. And there's no update.
I'm also going to rant they that being 4 numbers away from something I need could mean my health doesn't improve for bloody weeks and that will make me quite miserable. Criteria VS Symptoms sucks. |

I’m sick of doctors not listening to me and asking me to wait until I’m post menopausal so I can get some (unlikely) relief from my endometriosis excruciating pain.
I’m sick of being refused normal sex life because I’m apparently too old for a surgery, too young for HTR and whatever else for a chance of getting any suitable contraception!
That’s my rant, thank you for letting me vent in a safe space OP

I did shitloads of research on the scoring criteria, made sure I maxed wherever possible and took ages to fill in the form.
Video meeting with an assessor who couldn't wait to get off the phone and hardly listened to a word I said.
6 weeks waiting for the decline letter with Zero scores all the way through it. I'm like, WTF!!!!!!!!
luckily I have a good friend in the CAB who spends most of her days appealing PIP decisions.
Hopes are not high though. Hope you have better luck than me. |

I've struggled with my health for over a decade, it's taken me this long of fighting to actually get the pip award for my condition. Now I have it I still have to jump through more hoops in 3yrs time.. it is borderline discrimination |

I've been through the tribunal process. The judges are definitely on our side, so don't lose hope. |

People who just don’t listn. That might have more experience, but damn, don’t tell me my idea isn’t better, more practical, and I’ve seen you make the same mistake 3 times now. And I laughed at you Because I literally said, if you do it your way and it fucks uo again, I am going to laugh my arse off.
Go on, do it a 4th time…… doing the same thing to get the same shit results is beyond my comprehension. |

"Sick of not getting any meets
I slept with a man once who insisted his blow up doll watched in the corner. It was ever so creepy and I never did see him again"
Hey! Quentin might be plastic but he's as much a part of my life as anything else and he deserves to be included in my day. Think yourself Flossy was out grazing in the garden at the time.
Honestly - some people. |
